It is officially the end of year here at WRWM Towers as I put the finishing touches to the November edition of the newsletter.
I looked over all of the articles I wrote this 2017 and we have covered a huge number of topics. From the +1 Goal market in football, to laying the field in horse racing, to strategic betting, each-way doubles, dobbing, pace profiles,100% stats, one-a-day strategies, logical horse racing laying and so much more.
I can only share a miniscule amount of that info here in the eletter. If you want to look at all of the articles I have written, they are all available at the What Really Wins Money members’ site along with a number of key profitable long-term strategies where I provide daily tips. No losing strategy this 2017 I am please to report.
This November’s newsletter reviews the year’s strategies, provides you with three excellent free and profitable football tipping websites, and includes info on how to profit from a great little football niche that occurs most days but has probably never occurred to you!
Also, our resident writer The Patriarch shows you a great long-term profitable football accumulator strategy; we look at front-running horses: how to spot them and how to profit from them; and our resident Statman comes up with stats angles you won’t find anywhere else!
Friendlies and World Cup qualifiers
During this week and next, the world of football is taken up by international friendly matches and World Cup qualifiers. England take on Germany this evening in a match in which I think the English are vulnerable. It’s a much-changed England side, as you’d expect in a friendly. Tottenham’s three are out and there are call ups for Abraham, Gomez and Loftus-Cheek.
I cannot see England winning today. So how would I play this match? Lay England if England score first? Back 1-2 Germany in case England score but do not win? Back 0-1 Germany? It was 1-0 Germany in a recent friendly. Don’t get carried away with friendlies! I do, though, see that England vulnerability.
The World Cup qualifiers began yesterday with an impressive first-leg win for Croatia against Greece and a very unfortunate single penalty win for Switzerland against Northern Ireland.
The second legs are on Sunday where Croatia only need avoid a 4-0 defeat in order to qualify. Northern Ireland need to match the Swiss 1-0 initially, but have only really triumphed away from home against the likes of Azerbaijan and San Marino. It does look bleak.
The Swedes entertain Italy this evening in what is a tough match to get a handle on. The Italians have scored 0-1-1-1 goals recently, whilst the Swedes scored 3-4-2-8 goals at home.
The Irish take on Denmark tomorrow and 0-0 looks a good starting point there. The Irish do tend to concede mid-second-half goals when all looks to be going well. I do hope that is not the case tomorrow!
The second leg is on Tuesday and is a match I would be keener betting on after we know the result of the first leg.
Tuesday sees a rather tasty England vs Brazil match, which tends to produce goals: 1-1, 1-0 Brazil, 2-1 England and 2-2 in the last few friendlies, albeit the last two were in 2013. I could see what I call a Desmond 2-2 in this match on Tuesday, considering that was the last England friendly score vs Spain at Wemb-er-ley. Brazil have scored 2+ goals in their last eight friendly matches, at least!
Robinson’s anyone?
If football is not your thing (and with the horse racing still tough to read) the ATP Tennis Tour Finals return to London on 12th November. I have written in this eletter before about tennis and especially tennis trading, and would highly recommend you acquire this skill, as once learned it is applicable throughout the year’s tournaments.
My basic strategy (and there are others) is to spot a short-priced favourite, do some basic research at MatchStat, wait to see if said short-priced favourite is broken early or loses the first set, then back him/her in-play at better odds. Cash out once said short-priced favourite has fought back in the match. Then eat a strawberry and sip some Robinson’s, and start again!
So watch out if Roger Federer finds himself in trouble on Sunday against Jack ‘Smelly’ Sock, or if David Goffin can break Nadal or take a set off Nadal on Monday.
