Selections for Sunday 25th January 2015

I wrote an article for my eletter on this subject, focussing on Banker Bets and showing you how we can profit from them.

I’ll list some apparent “bankers” in this post, and time permitting, will try to do this daily. I try to look for 1.1 odds or higher. The goal is to win back your initial stake and bank that immediately, then play on, banking profits every £10 or so.

This is not a strategy where I’m trying to create the biggest odds returns. I want a “banker”, a bet which is obvious.

Bankers and Blowouts – the mini-DRT angle.

www.drt.club is my trading service where I do all of my football research. I have noticed that these bankers, whilst sometimes frustrating us with score draws and throwing away 2-0 leads, rarely lose matches. How can you profit? Well are you familiar with football trading? That is, reacting to how a match unfolds in-play? If you are then you would have taken on faith the fact that these bankers rarely lose, and layed Dundee in play , when they were 1-3 up to bankers Aberdeen. Final score ( as you see below), 3-3. How about more frustrating bar stewards like Club Brugge the other day against Mechelen.

Staying with our premis that Bankers rarely lose, what could you have done if Mechelen ( as they did) take the lead? Lay Mechelen! Better yet, what if the match was still 0-1 coming to 90 minutes? Lay Mechelen at lower odds for potentially greater profit! You know what happened next, I am sure. Club Brugge equalised in the 90th minute.

I have already mentioned the idea of laying a team 2-0 up, to lock in profit. Consider the above elements too , in order to maximise the premis that Bankers rarely lose.

Yesterday

12:45 UK Ross County v Celtic – 1.25 away – 0-1

15:00 UK Chelsea v Bradford – 1.11 home – 2-4

15:00 UK Man City v Middlesbrough – 1.28 home – 0-2

15:00 UK Cordoba v Real Madrid – 1.12 away – 1-2

17:00 UK Elche v Barcelona – 1.17 away – 0-6

17:00 UK Real Betis v Sabadell – 1.44 home – 2-0

17:30 UK Liverpool v Bolton – 1.3 home – 0-0

19:00 UK Atletico Madrid v Rayo Vallecano – 1.3 home – 3-1

So, for me today , I would have to avoid Man City and Liverpool I think in the FA Cup, and include all others as bankers because they are league matches. I got 7 out of 7 2 weeks ago. Is there a weak link? Well I suppose Real Betis in a league I rarely visit, and Elche perhaps over-reacting defensively to conceding 10 in 2 matches recently against today’s opponents. Atl Madrid are a tad high( Suspiciously high?) and should be shorter against Rayo Vallecano. I have to use www.willhill.com as I do the research as early as I can for www.drt.club because of the heavy workload.

Another excellent haul yesterday if you followed my advice , as recounted above, and ignored the Man City and Liverpool matches. If you included Chelsea, then by my 2-0 trade out rule, this was a success and I am including it. I have mentioned this countless times before and if you don’t do it, that’s your prerogative.

Please could I have some feedback on these bankers , sent via email to whatreallywins@yahoo.co.uk.

If you like my accurate analysis of these matches, consider joining www.drt.club where I research , in great depth, a whole variety of football matches.

Today

13:00 UK Lyon v Metz – 1.4 home – although I am loathe to visit the oft unpredictable frogs, Lyon have 11 wins in 13 matches, a 9 match home winning streak, and have not conceded more than a single goal in a home match. Metz have not won in their last 9 away matches, although they did beat Lyon in August 2014. Metz have failed to score in 8 away matches. Ergo Lyon score, they should win.

14:00 UK Juventus v Chievo – 1.15 home – 5 consecutive Juve wins in head to heads , only 1 loss all season, and no defeat in 10 matches, plays a Chievo side who have lost all bar 2 matches home and away to top 10 teams. Yes they did beat Napoli, but probability wise, they are more likely NOT to win v top 10.

Galatasary appeal today but a tendency to score and concede could see them caught cold, and suggests a need for 2 goals at least to secure the win. They are in rock solid form and I expect them to win, but as I say, that scoring and conceding habit is not a welcome one.

Club Brugge look solid away to Cercle Brugge in what is a local derby. I expect the away side to win scoring 2, but as it is a derby I’ll leave it alone.
