A whopping 11 meetings are coming your way on Boxing Day. It can only be Christmas racing. There is some high-class fare at Kempton and Leopardstown, although at the latter meeting, the poor folks will have to put up with the wearer of sunglasses indoors: Mr. Bono, or O-nob to his close friends.

I am in Guernsey for Christmas with the family. Yes, uncle-duty beckons for Uncle Clive, but I am ready for the task awaiting.

The ‘3 ratings’ strategy I shared with you last week has been ticking over nicely and chipped in with a 16.39 winner, amongst short-odds winners.

It is that time of the year where I naturally begin the process of collating the results for all of the other systems and strategies I have been following throughout 2017. I will share some ideas with you before the New Year which you may want to take up. One idea, that of the ‘one-a-day’ bet, is working a charm in four different areas for me. One-a-day betting is a very viable strategy for long-term profit making.

My close show-biz pal each-way betting continues to chip in with its winners and places. That’s a great horse racing angle for 2018.

January sees the Australian Open tennis. Tennis is a superb sport for the value seeker, particularly its Grand Slams. I shared strategies with you throughout 2017 and will give you an eletter refresher before this Grand Slam begins.

And don’t forget the footy! It is a real profit maker, and 2018 is World Cup year and there’s some rubles to be made in Russia.

All that to look forward to.

But now I look forward to a mince pie or two, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Wallace and Gromit (apparently it’s the law to watch Wallace and Gromit over Christmas), and being terrorised by ankle-biters.

Have a great Christmas week and see you very soon.
