Wasn’t it great to see UK racing launch into one of its classic weekends. The 1000 and 2000 guineas at Newmarket.

I gave a strong shout to the O’Brien horse Wichita in the 2000 guineas. The booking of Frankie Dettori really caught the eye. Neck 2nd at 15/2 had us oh-so-close to success there.

Aidan O’Brien’s Love in the 1000 guineas on Sunday ticked all of the trends I pointed out last Friday. And won at 4/1.

Royal Ascot is the next classic meeting, and as I write is 4 days away.

As with the 1000 and 2000 guineas I would recommend a past trend analysis of such quality races. These past trends can be strong pointers as you saw last weekend.

https://www.thestatsdontlie.com/horse-racing/festivals/royal-ascot/  is an excellent free resource for you to look at past trends for this upcoming classic meeting.

I’ll take you through this race and would recommend you look at the other races in this manner.

Head on over to https://www.thestatsdontlie.com/horse-racing/festivals/royal-ascot/queen-anne-stakes/

To be honest you don’t really have to do any work as the website has listed the Trends for you, for free.

What I would note is the 2 consecutive big odds winners at 14/1 and 33/1

What is also noticeable for me is that 2 of the last 3 winners came from stall 1.

Accidental Agent, the 2018 winner, comes out of Stall 1 again at 50/1! Surely not a 3rd winner in 4 from stall 1?

Good luck with your plays this Royal Ascot. Do see if you can spot past trends as we did in the Guineas meetings.

Use the stats website which has done all of the hard lifting for you!

Have a great weekend and don’t forget that the English Premier League returns on Wednesday! Aston Villa and Sheffield United meet as do Manchester City and Arsenal. Great stuff!
