I wrote an article for my eletter on this subject, focussing on Banker Bets and showing you how we can profit from them.

I’ll list some apparent “bankers” in this post, and time permitting, will try to do this daily. I try to look for 1.1 odds or higher. The goal is to win back your initial stake and bank that immediately, then play on, banking profits every £10 or so.

This is not a strategy where I’m trying to create the biggest odds returns. I want a “banker”, a bet which is obvious.

Yesterday

12pm – Vietnam v Laos – 1.26 home – 3-0 win but 1.08 at the off. An illiquid market.

745pm – Sp Lisbon v NK Maribor – 1.33 home – 3-1 to Sporting.

Today

Real Madrid away to Basel pick themselves but they are through to the round of 16.

745pm – Atl Madrid v Olympiakos – 1.38 home – the home side have a superb home record in all competitions. Olympiakos at home are superb in the Champions League, but away from home, are on a consecutive losing run. The first match was 3-2 to Olympiakos at home.

Juventus should beat Malmo away from home today but are not a banker, when you discover Juventus have not won in 6 away CL matches.
