I wrote an article for my eletter on this subject, focussing on Banker Bets and showing you how we can profit from them.

I’ll list some apparent “bankers” in this post, and time permitting, will try to do this daily. I try to look for 1.1 odds or higher. The goal is to win back your initial stake and bank that immediately, then play on, banking profits every £10 or so.

This is not a strategy where I’m trying to create the biggest odds returns. I want a “banker”, a bet which is obvious.

Yesterday

2pm – Congo v Sierra Leone – 1.2 home – based on motivation, Congo should win this . Sierra Leone have never won an away qualifier in the African Cup of Nations. Congo won 0-2 at Sierra Leone in September. 3-1 to Congo

I was going to put up Senegal at home to a Botswana side they have already beaten 0-2, but really Senegal have already qualified and Senegal were only beaten by a late Tunisian penalty recently. I find that teams who don’t really need to win, rarely do. 3-0 to Senegal

 Today

Nothing today. There is only one football match I shortlisted and that was from Brazil. I avoid the tennis when the top 10 are not playing.
