I wrote an article for my eletter on this subject, focussing on Banker Bets and showing you how we can profit from them.
I’ll list some apparent “bankers” in this post, and time permitting, will try to do this daily. I try to look for 1.1 odds or higher. The goal is to win back your initial stake and bank that immediately, then play on, banking profits every £10 or so.
This is not a strategy where I’m trying to create the biggest odds returns. I want a “banker”, a bet which is obvious.
Yesterday
11am – Nomme Kalju v Trans Narva – 1.13 home side – shorties in Estonia usually deliver. 1-0 win
1245pm – Ross Co v Celtic – 1.33 away – more a case of need to win for Celtic who are not in the best of form. They are behind 2 teams in the SPL. – 0-5 win
230pm – B Munich v W Bremen – 1.12 home – yes, Bayern have a Champions League match next week, but have an average of 6 goals scored v Werder in the last 3 head to heads. – 6-0 win
3pm – Rangers v Raith – 1.28 home – 6-1 win
3pm – Red Bull Salzburg v SV Ried – 1.12 home 4-2 win
5pm – Roma v Chievo – 1.33 home – 3-0 win
7pm – Barcelona v Eibar – 1.12 home – another win to nil on the cards – halftime/fulltime perhaps? – 3-0 win
745pm – Sassuolo v Juventus – 1.44 away – I was going to include Chelsea and Arsenal today as bankers but their odds are like Juventus’s , near the 1.5 marker – is this down to the up and coming Champions League matches. – 1-1 draw
745pm – Covilha v Benfica – 1.24 away – 2-3 win
Tennis
345pm – Tomas Berdych v Matthias Bachinger – 1.11 Berdych – win 2 sets
Only Juventus let us down yesterday. They did come from 1-0 down so I profited by backing them 1-0 down and trading out when they equalised.
Today
2pm – Panathinaikos v OFI – 1.38 home
4pm – Braga v Alcains – 1.06 home – a Portugeuse cup match and a hope the home team scores before halftime to offer more generous odds.
7pm – Steaua Bucharest v Uni Cluj – 1.24 home – playing at home and expected to win
