Turned out not too bad with the past winners at Doncaster last week.

The 14:00 Doncaster was won by the favourite. “No need to look further than the favourite,” I said.

The 14:35 was a lucky dip, I suggested, with horses between 12 to 20/1. There were six horses at those odds and one came second at 20/1. A length away from the win.

For the 15:10 I told you to look to the second favourite, as they seem to have a great record. Indeed, Breton Rock, the 7/2 second favourite, won the race. Delighted with that.

I argued the St Leger was a race in which to avoid the favourite. I put forward an 8/1 horse each way. Well, at least we got the favourite beaten and a 7/1 horse (there were no 8/1 horses) came third for each-way support.

This is a unique way of picking winners – by odds rather than horse! Sometimes we go mighty close, frustratingly so!

5-6-7-8…

No I’m not really paying homage to supergroup Steps… I’m actually talking about the latest strategy to hit inboxes. It is www.567method.com and is something I am keen to investigate.

Five bets per day, six days a week, £700!

Hmm. The old grey matter thought this must be some kind of a ‘stop at a winner’ strategy.

There are more insights provided here. We get a screenshot of a Paddy Power account…

Conclusive proof… that this vendor… can deposit money into a Paddy Power account. Well done! But not proof of winnings.

The account histories point to trebles.

I get another clue in emails: “Last week we hit our target on Monday, so we stopped betting for the rest of the week.”

So far this looks to be a straightforward tipping service. It employs trebles and singles and looks to make a 7/1 return in a week. If that is achieved in any one day, he seems to stop.

Some of the testimonials don’t ring true. And we get the typical £30 charge price we see for these types of services.

I am suspicious, I don’t mind telling you, so I’ll try to investigate further. If you have any experience of this, or other services, drop me a line!

I’m off now to spend my winning after Laying a team called Mainz at odds of 1.02 (£2 risk wins £100) after they were 4-1 down to a team called Hoffenheim.

Red card. Final score? 4-4! Boom.

Have a great weekend!
