Well what a week it’s been. This time last week (9th October), I was doing my thing for my football trading service at www.drt.club and pointing members to some potential strong football trades, when I came across a Norwegian 4th Division match between little-known sides Tollnes and Express FC.
A non-descript match. The away side were leading 0-3. Another run-of-the-mill away win was on the cards.

I noticed a red card to the away side leading 0-3. Red cards are something I teach my DRT members to look out for, as goals usually follow.
I advised a lay of the away side Express FC at odds of 1.03 and as low as 1.01! This latter lay means you could potentially win £100 (less commission) for every £1 staked.

What Really Wins Money for October is being finalised and there’s no prizes for guessing the theme this month. No it’s not a Kelly Brook swimsuit special: this month we are looking at the National Hunt season.
This October’s newsletter begins with a guide to the Jumps season as well as some betting angles. With Ireland avoiding a quarter-final berth v New Zealand, my original New Zealand/Ireland Final bet is still in good working order, and in tomorrow’s quarter finals I would tentatively look at laying South Africa at 1.35 against Wales and New Zealand at 1.21 against France. This is the quarter finals and the underdogs are surely going to be going for broke here!
The favourites to reach the Final are New Zealand and Australia, and for me, the 2.46 to lay NZ/Aus in the Betfair Name the Finalist market is enticing. There is a lot of rugby yet to play. This price may yet rise after this weekend is over.
