Happy Easter! And if you’re buying, mine’s a creme egg.

The Flat season is yet to take off in earnest so, in this brief eletter today, I’ll tell you what we’ll be covering in future eletters…

The Flat season will take priority and I’ll be discussing ideas on how to profit from the unique races which this particular code provides, such as…

  • Sprint races, over 5, 6 and 7 furlongs.
  • Maiden races for unraced two and three-year-olds. Insider info is the key here and I’ll be showing you how the read the various markets, from the Sporting Life, to Betfair, to the bookies markets, to uncover the clues regarding potential stable gambles.
  • Middle distance races – 1 mile 2 furlongs to 1 mile 6 furlongs. These races are great for in-play betting because the distance allows horses to be ‘held up’ and thus their odds to drift in-play before a hopeful late surge.
  • The draw bias. This is a key at a number of Flat race courses and can have a huge impact on results. At some venues you can pretty much draw a line through some horses drawn in certain stalls before the race has even been run.
  • The Irish Flat season is unique as well, and I’ll be discussing the killer jockey/trainer combos you need to look out for.
  • We’ll also be looking at the Flat racing classics.

Plenty to keep me busy in between chomping on an Easter egg and watching my sumo-like waistline retain its sturdiness.

As we are in a new month, I always try to add to my ‘Home-Grown’ betting systems and have done so. My focus is on the following, which I hope will provide us with profitable future betting niches…

  • The race with the biggest-priced Betting Forecast favourite. Can we lay it, perhaps in the Place Only market?
  • The biggest field of the day. Competition surely suggests we lay the favourite?
  • 16+ runner races. I am listing all 16+ runner races, simply because I feel there are enough competitors for us to lay one or two of the participants and have a great chance of profiting.

I’m off now to continue my football research for www.drt.club. It just remains for me to wish you a Happy Easter and I’ll see you next Friday with our Flat season factors.
